PROTECTING THE INTERESTS OF STUDENT ATHLETES
THE COLLEGE HOCKEY EXPERIENCE
"In the beginning of a change the PATRIOT is a scarce man, and brave and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it cost nothing to be a PATRIOT."

CSSA'S FUTURE ACTIVITIES AND GOALS
1. Provide leadership, support, education, a unified voice and when necessary, legal support to athletes and their families.
2. Administer and publish culture assessments of NCAA athletic programs.
3. Pursue legislation to ensure that academic obligations and scholarship commitments are honored regardless of the athlete’s ability to participate in his or her sport.
4. Enhance the integrity of the recruiting process.
5. Eliminate play for pay scholarship commitments.
6. Challenge and limit delayed college enrollments.
7. Pursue legislation to diminish transfer restrictions and seek to correct the imbalance of power over student athletes.
